Sunday 23rd August will be remembered in Bamenda III. The much awaited final of the Bamenda III Council Royal Tournament took place yesterday the 23rd of August 2026. For this 2026 edition, the final was a clash of two giants who took very different roads to the top. Sporting FC of Bayelle Manda vs Revenge FC OF Mbessi. Sporting completed their unbeaten run in style. From perfect in pool A , to penalties against Sunday Sharp FC, to a win over Tipper Park in Semi final and now a dominant 3-0 in the final. Revenge FC of Mbessi fought hard to reach the final but Sporting proved too strong. This is more than just a football. Mayor Fongu Cletus has used this holiday tournament to keep our youths engaged, talented and away from negative influences. congratulations to the champions.
